Gig review - Discovery 2


If you haven't been to a Discovery 2 evening of live music follow them on Twitter (link at the end of this post) and make sure you make it to a future event.  On Thursday 30th April we went along to 229 The Venue on Great Portland Street, London.

First of the unsigned musicians on stage was Samson, a great guy with a great voice. Next was Naskisha Esnard, who performs Reggae Opera (yes really) and watching her is a must-see experience live. The Undivided started their set with "and now for something completely different" and this sums up the shift in mood to bands for the rest of the evening. The Manic Shine brought a brilliant guitar sound and the whole venue loved them. Chase The Ace brought their own brand of Glam Metal Rock to the night and performed in the crowd and on the sofa in the bar. They really know how to work a crowd.  For an overview of the night watch the video below:
