Katie Harris joined Twitter nine years ago and since then has built up a network of thousands of followers over various niche Twitter accounts and connected with industry contacts. She has gained extensive experience in digital promotion through the creation and management of many online street teams and fansites including various musicians and actors, digital street team promotions from her personal Twitter and most recently @140Promotions. She has regularly attended gigs and live music nights in Norwich and London for over fifteen years and has seen many early performances of (now successful) musicians and bands including Maroon 5, The Script, James Bay, and George Ezra. She has been a show reporter and videographer for A Soulful Sound, Facebook admin for Stories From The Road and a student ambassador for Show Film First. She has attended many Social Media industry events including Social Media Week London in September 2014. There she attended a Music Industry panel with industry experts on the importance of musicians having an online presence and fan following. She has also taken part in webinars with Twitter and Tweet Smarter, and Digital Marketing training with DotNative.
