Our April Music Spotlight Musician is singer/songwriter Ernie Jackson. Ernie is a London based musician from Yorkshire. He started making music from a young age and was influenced by Motown and Soul artists such as Otis Redding and Chuck Berry. His music is a mixture of this great classic Motown sound, jazz and pop. Ernie has achieved impressive radio airplay, having his songs played on BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing and XFM London with more to come.
On 1st March Ernie launched his #pinchpunch series ("pinch punch first of the month") and is planning on releasing a new original song on the first of every month. We featured his first #pinchpunch track All I Want here last month. This months track is titled Tear It Up. This is a brilliant song with a great unique vocal and a strong catchy beat which you won't be able to get out of your head :) .
