March Spotlight on - Alexa Dark

Alexa Dark, our Monthly Music Spotlight for March, is a New York singer/songwriter/guitarist who is currently based in London. She describes her music as indie rock. She has done many gigs in London since 2013 including well known venues O2 Academy Islington and Underbelly Hoxton, with many more gigs planned. She is working on a debut EP, to be released this Summer.

On 3rd March 2015 we attended a gig at Fiddlers Elbow in Camden, London and saw Alexa perform live. Alexa performed an acoustic 6 song set. Alexa has a great stage presence and energised the quiet venue and impressed the Tuesday night crowd. Her self-written songs sound just as good live and especially fun was her cover of Come As You Are by Nirvana.
