Indolore is an indie folk singer/songwriter from Paris, France and our Music Spotlight Musician for May.
In his own words:
I used to have a band called Shine, we used to open for Sia and Morcheeba. We used to work with the British rock legend Terry Reid. Our music used to be featured on American TV shows, then the adventure stopped. I thought I was through with music for a while. But one day, I presented myself with my acoustic guitar in front of microphones, just me. I recorded a song and I thought to myself, ok, this time, you’re going to show the real you. I gave up all ideas of sophisticated, ambitious orchestration. I wanted to get closer to me. I meant « I ». I am unable to bluff when I use music as a way to express my emotions. It terrified me before diving into it but now, I do like this new life. My debut EP « Positive Girls » is a brand new start, like a second chance. Indolore.

In March this year Indolore performed at the prestigious South by Southwest (SXSW ) Festival and Spring Fling Festival both in Austin, Texas, USA and has performed live in Los Angeles and extensively in Paris.
Last night he performed at Leaf, an award winning arts venue (and tea shop) in Liverpool.
This week Indolore will be playing at Focus Wales Festival in Wrexham on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th May and on Friday 3rd June he is performing at The Troubadour in London.
