Lorne's debut single has already been played on Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing, Fresh On The Net and Chill Radio DAB and in the USA on WNYU Radio in New York, plus positively reviewed in NYU's Washington Square News.
'Bread Alone' features soaring cello and violin sections and was recorded by Yoed Nir (Regina Spektor, Rufus Wainwright). The song is inspired by the phrase 'man shall not live by bread alone'. This implies needing to experience more than just a mundane life to truly live. The lyrics are about loss, hope, taking chances and seizing the day.
'Bread Alone' is an impressive debut single and Lorne's debut EP looks set to be equally good and a must-listen.
If you're a fan of Tom Odell and/or Ben Howard you'll love Lorne's sound.
